I've been trying to find an example of the particular style binding covered in handmarbled paper with a leather hollowback spine, and silk head/endbands, just as an example for myself. While at the library a few weeks ago I came across this copy of "Auxelle" by P. Benoit that follows the premise pretty well: it's covered in handmarbled paper and bound in faux leather bookcloth, with silk head/endbands. It's in French, so I only understand about 1/5 of the text, but it's so lovely I bought it entirely for its cover.
It's awesome Amber! And as your sister I call co-ownership! :)
